I have always had a love of painting, dating back to when I was a small child at school. Secondary school never offered me much creative output, but I began to pursue Art again in 1969 when I applied for a place at Folkestone School of Art and began a three-year course in Graphic Design.
A small part of my studies was devoted to ‘drawing and painting’ in preparation for a GCSE A-level Art. I was very inspired there by Art tutors, Ken Back and Corinne Jones, both now sadly deceased.
Taking this passion, I have enthusiastically painted through the years, developing an extensive portfolio. I have shown work and taken part in many Art Exhibitions, both locally to Kent and in London, as well as winning awards along the way.
